To our loyal customers
As at 14 September 2020
Adventure Destinations thank you for your patience whilst we have been working through cancellations and postponements for impacted travel plans due to events relating to COVID-19. The safety and wellbeing of our customers and employees continues to be our highest concern and we are working hard to ensure the best outcomes for all.
Unfortunately it is not business as usual for our team at Adventure Destinations and everyone is working from home on reduced hours. We continue to act upon the official advice of the Australian Government and governments of our many destinations so will update our advice as information is available. Due to the fact that we operate in many different countries and deal with a multitude of suppliers there may be some delays in responses.
International travel for the remainder of 2020 will be impacted. We are hopeful that travel will resume in the first part of 2021 but this is ever changing. If you have postponed your booking to 2021, we are monitoring travel bans and government regulations and will be in touch as the travel date approaches and we receive revised terms and conditions from our suppliers.
We are currently working with suppliers to reduce cancellation and amendment terms and conditions for new bookings to ensure we can offer our customers the most flexible conditions possible. Our suppliers are constantly updating and revising their terms. The terms and conditions of a booking will be dependent on the most restrictive component of an itinerary and will be advised at the time of booking.
Our team are working hard behind the scenes, so our customers can be confident when it comes to travelling again. We’re ensuring the product we work with have COVID safe measures covered, extra sanitisation, increased hygiene measures and are prepared for whatever a post COVID world brings.

Facts on refunds from the Australian Federation of Travel Agents
Adventure Destinations is a member of the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) and a registered ATAS agent. ATAS is a national accreditation scheme which endorses travel agencies who have met strict financial and customer service criteria.
ATAS accreditation requires us to process all client funds via a Travel Trust account. Any booking payment is deposited to the trust account, then paid promptly and directly to our suppliers to confirm your reservations. We only deal with reputable airlines and accredited overseas companies that also operate travel trust accounts.
